Weed Harvester Schedule – Tentative

An event every week that begins at 7:30 am on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, repeating until July 11, 2023
Operation Period: June 15th – Oct 1st on as-needed basis. Cutting shall wait until after the spring fish-spawning period when possible. The season may be shortened or extended depending on year-to-year weed growth conditions.
The District runs one-person crew or two-person crews as needed to maintain efficiency, safety and logistics. Weekly time blocks are currently 7:30am –12:00pm Monday through Friday, corresponding largely with the lake’s slow-no-wake times. Harvesters will not be out in inclement weather.
Proposed schedules shall be based on the latest assessment of weed-growth conditions and other needs and may be adjusted later if such conditions change. This is a tentative schedule and can be changed at any time due to many different factors including but not limited to: inclement weather, maintenance, and staffing issues.
