New 345kV Electric Transmission Line

Viridon and National Grid are propsing a new transmission line project that could potentially affect the Lake Ripley watershed, and the Town of Oakland. Find more information here: WISE Transmission Line Project Information

There will be an open house for Jefferson County residents on Tuesday, November 17th at the Comfort Suites Johnson Creek Conference Center (725 Paradise Lane, Johnson Creek, WI, 53038). The open house hours are between 11AM - 1PM and 4PM - 6PM. We encourage residents to attend to learn more about the project and provide your feedback and concerns.
